TO PROMOTE AND UNDERTAKE THE RESTORATION TO A NAVIGABLE STANDARD AND ON A SUSTAINABLE BASIS THE HISTORIC FORMER WATERWAYS THAT LINK MAIDENHEAD TO THE RIVER THAMES, FOR THE PURPOSE OF ENHANCING AND MAKING ACCESSIBLE THE RESTORED WATERSIDE ENVIRONMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC, WILDLIFE AND RIVER USERS ALIKE.
