Activities - how the charity spends its money
Contact provides a safe space and drop-in centre for those affected by mental ill-health and their carers. We provide mentally stimulating activities to encourage participation and to reduce social isolation. We offer a Counselling / Therapy Service for those in need covering SE Northumberland. We provide advice on benefits. We offer caravan mini respite holidays to our members and their carers.

Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE COMPANY SHALL BE TO: (A) RELIEVE THE NEED OF PERSONS SUFFERING OR WHO HAVE SUFFERED FROM MENTAL ILL HEALTH, AND IN PARTICULAR TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, RELIEVE POVERTY AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION FOR SUCH PERSONS WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; (B) ENGAGE IN ANY OTHER CHARITABLE ACTIVITY WHICH MAY RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH PERSONS TO PROTECT AND PRESERVE THE HEALTH OF THEIR FAMILIES, FRIENDS AND CARERS.
