THE OBJECTS FOR WHICH THE CHARITY IS ESTABLISHED ("THE OBJECTS ") ARE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY:- A) THE ACQUISITION AND PRESERVATION WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE FORMER GREAT WESTERN RAILWAY OF SUCH LOCOMOTIVES, ROLLING STOCK AND OTHER EQUIPMENT AS MAY BE OR MAY HAVE BEEN PRESERVED BY THE CHARITY OR GREAT WESTERN SOCIETY LIMITED AND THE CARING FOR ANY OTHER LOCOMOTIVES, ROLLING STOCK R OTHER EQUIPMENT, MACHINERY AD RELICS OF HISTORICAL OPERATIONAL AND GENERAL INTEREST AND HISTORICAL VALUE WHICH MAY BELONG TO MEMBERS OF THE CHARITY OR GREAT WESTERN SOCIETY LIMITED OR TO ANY OTHER PERSONS AND THE MAKING AVAILABLE FOR DISPLAY AND DEMONSTRATION TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC OF THE LOCOMOTIVES, ROLLING STOCK AND OTHER EQUIPMENT AND ITEMS OWNED OR CONTROLLED BY THE CHARITY B) THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF A LIBRARY AND A COLLECTION OF MODELS, DESIGNS, DRAWINGS AND OTHER ARTICLES OF INTEREST IN CONNECTION WITH THE CHARITY AND RAILWAYS IN GENERAL WHICH SHALL BE AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION BY THE PUBLIC AT REASONABLE TIMES.
