The Colour House Children's Theatre is an independent charity which aims to provide education in the performing arts for children and young people in our area and to encourage an appreciation and enjoyment of theatre arts and drama. It also aims to foster the use of drama as an aid to personal and social development. Work experience for young students is also offered.

Charitable objects
TO PROVIDE EDUCATION IN THE PERFORMING ARTS FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AND IN PARTICULAR TO: 1 FOSTER IN CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AN APPRECIATION AND ENJOYMENT OF THEATRE ARTS AND DRAMA; 2 FOSTER IN CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE THE USE OF DRAMA AS AN AID TO PERSONAL AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT; 3 ENCOURAGE THE SHARING OF THEATRICAL AND SOCIAL EXPERIENCE; 4 ENCOURAGE DEVELOP AND PROMOTE YOUTH THEATRE WORK; AND 5 PROVIDE TUITION IN THE VARIOUS SKILLS OF THE PERFORMING ARTS.
