We deliver services in areas of deprivation in Gloucestershire. Current activities : Money Advice Services, General welfare benefits advice, Community education, Learning disability well-being centre, and programmes that increase employability by learning practical skills i.e. landscaping, carpentry, painting etc. We accept volunteers in service areas above to enhance skills.

Charitable expenditure
Some charities generate all, or a substantial part, of their income from investments which may have been donated to the charity as endowment or set aside by the charity from its own resources in the past. Such investments usually take the form of stocks and shares but may include other assets, such as property, that are capable of generating income and/or capital growth.
In managing their spending and investments charities need to strike a balance between the needs of future and current beneficiaries. They also need to take account of spending commitments that may stretch over a number of future years. To do this, charities will normally adopt an investment strategy designed to generate both income and capital growth. To maximise returns trustees may commit to investment strategies for several years.
Investments can experience large swings in value so trustees may, in a particular year, decide to realise and spend part of their charity’s capital or to invest part of its income.

Charitable objects
A) The relief of persons resident in Gloucester and other Boroughs within the County of Gloucestershire in need, hardship and distress, including the elderly and the disabled, by providing or assisting in the provision of I) advice and information regarding their legal entitlements particularly (but not exclusively) state benefits, housing, consumer matters and debt, and II) facilities and services to relieve persons suffering from substance addiction together with the families of such persons B) The advancement of education amongst persons resident within the area of benefit C) To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life
