Charitable objects

1) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY STUDENTS OF THE COLLEGE, BY THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, EQUIPMENT, ITEMS AND TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIPS. 2) THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE WAR MEMORIAL TO COMMEMORATE THOSE OLD WYGGESTONIANS WHO HAVE FALLEN IN WAR, WHO WERE MEMBERS OF THE COLLEGE OR OF THE SCHOOL. 3) SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES DEEMED CHARITABLE BY THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE."
