Activities - how the charity spends its money
The charity currently assists Gurkha Veterans and their families settle into the UK. Support is given to those Veterans, (pre 1997), to complete all the forms required by the council, banks & estate agents. Liaison is also arranged between the DWP & the GWT. Income is mainly through street collections,donations and the Gurkha Resettlement Fund..English language and other courses are available.

Charitable objects
"GURKHA BENEFICIARIES" MEANS FORMER GURKHA SERVICE PERSONNEL WHO SERVED IN THE BRITISH ARMY BRIGADE OF GURKHAS AND WERE HONOURABLY DISCHARGED ON OR BEFORE 1 JULY 1997 AND THEIR SPOUSES, WIDOWS AND CHILDREN. THE CHARITY OBJECTS ARE AS FOLLOWS: (1) THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONGST GURKHA BENEFICIARIES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND ABROAD BY THE PROVISION OF WITH GRANTS, GOODS, SERVICES, SUPPORT, ADVICE OR VOCATIONAL AND SKILLS TRAINING. (2) THE RELIEF OF MENTAL AND PHYSICAL SICKNESS OF GURKHA BENEFICIARIES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND ABROAD RESULTING FROM: (A) INJURIES OBTAINED DURING SERVICE IN THE BRITISH ARMY; (B) INFIRMITY, DISEASE, POVERTY AND LACK OF MEANS; AND / OR (C) BEREAVEMENT, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF GRANTS, GOODS OR SERVICES, COUNSELLING OR SUPPORT OF SUCH PERSONS.
