Activities - how the charity spends its money
SOCOPS operates 2 youth groups in Exeter, accessed by young people with a diagnosis of Aspergers syndrome or high functioning Autism. Socops provides social opportunities and support for the entire family including parents and siblings. The youth group for 8-15 year olds is based at a community centre and meets weekly. The youth group for 15+ meets at different venues in the community.

TO RELIEVE CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS WHO HAVE ASPERGERS SYNDROME/AUTISTIC SPECTRUM DISORDER ( HIGH FUNCTIONING AUTISM) AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE. IN PARTICULAR TO PROVIDE SOCIAL OPPORTUNITIES, RECREATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS DIAGNOSED AS HAVING ASPERGER'S SYNDROME/AUTISTIC SPECTRUM DISORDER AND THEIR SIBLINGS AND PARENTS.
