The PCC cooperates with the Vicar, Revd Matthew Catterick, in promoting the whole mission of the church: pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. It does this through regular public worship, pastoral work including visiting the sick and bereaved, teaching of Christianity through sermons and courses, and a wide variety of community and other activities based in the church and meeting rooms.
