TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF PEOPLE WITH CHRONIC ILLNESSES, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY HIV / AIDS, BY; (1) THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING TO MEDICAL STAFF AND HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DIAGNOSIS, MANAGEMENT, CARE AND TREATMENT OF SUCH PEOPLE; AND (2) CARRYING OUT CLINICAL RESEARCH INTO THE MOST EFFECTIVE METHODS OF TREATMENT FOR SUCH PATIENTS AND DISSEMINATING THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH; AND (3) SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION SHALL THINK FIT.
