Robin Asgher commenced employment with the Cranford Support Trust on 6 April 2011. His role is to fulfil all the duties of a pastor in respect of Cranford Baptist Church including preaching, teaching, leadership, pastoral and children?s and young people?s work.

Charitable objects

(1) THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE BASIS OF FAITH PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY WITHIN CRANFORD AND THE SURROUNDING NEIGHBOURHOOD; AND (2) SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS SHALL, IN THE OPINION OF THE TRUSTEES, FURTHER THE WORK OF THE CHARITY. IN FURTHERANCE OF (1) THE CHARITY SHALL HAVE THE PARTICULAR OBJECT, FOR AS LONG AS THE TRUSTEES CONSIDER IT NECESSARY, OF PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO FACILITATE THE APPOINTMENT OF A FULL-TIME MINISTER OF THE GOSPEL BASED AT CRANFORD BAPTIST CHURCH IN FIRS DRIVE, CRANFORD, BUT THIS IS NOT TO BE REGARDED AS EXCLUSIVELY THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY, NOR A NECESSARY NOR THE ONLY MEANS BY WHICH OBJECT (1) MAY BE FULFILLED.
