Charitable objects
(1)THE OBJECTS OF THE ALMSHOUSE AND CHAPEL BRANCH ARE: (A) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY BY THE PROVISION OF ALMSHOUSE ACCOMMODATION FOR PEOPLE RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT FOR NOT LESS THAN FIVE YEARS PRECEDING APPOINTMENT; AND (B) SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS AS THE TRUSTEES DECIDE. (C) SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF CLAUSE 5 (POWER TO DISPOSE OF AND REPLACE PURPOSE PROPERTY), THE LAND IDENTIFIED IN PART 1 OF THE SCHEDULE TO THIS SCHEME MUST BE RETAINED BY THE TRUSTEES FOR USE FOR THE OBJECTS OF THE ALMSHOUSE AND CHAPEL BRANCH OF THE CHARITY. THE CHAPEL MUST BE RETAINED BY THE TRUSTEES FOR USE AS A CHAPEL. (2) THE OBJECTS OF THE EDUCATION BRANCH ARE THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS AND BURSARIES TO THE ORGANISATIONS OR INDIVIDUALS RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT AND PUPILS OR FORMER PUPILS OF QUEEN ELIZABETH'S GRAMMAR SCHOOL. (3) THE OBJECTS OF THE RELIEF IN NEED BRANCH ARE THE RELIEF OF POVERTY BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS AND PAYMENTS TO ORGANISATIONS OR INDIVIDUALS RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT. (4) THE OBJECTS OF THE RECREATION GROUND BRANCH ARE: (A) THE PROVISION OF A RECREATION GROUND IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT FOR THE BENEFIT AND ENJOYMENT OF THE PUBLIC; (B) SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF CLAUSE 5 (POWER TO DISPOSE OF AND REPLACE PURPOSE PROPERTY), THE LAND IDENTIFIED IN PART 2 OF THE SCHEDULE TO THIS SCHEME MUST BE RETAINED BY THE TRUSTEES FOR USE FOR THE OBJECTS OF THE RECREATION GROUND BRANCH OF THE CHARITY.
