ALMSHOUSES FOR POOR AGED PERSONS OF GOOD CHARACTER, BEING MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND, WHO (EXCEPT IN SPECIAL CASES TO BE APPROVED BY THE COMMISSIONERS) ARE RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF THE PARISHES OF ABBOTS BROMLEY, BLITHFIELD, COLTON, COLWICH AND MAVESYN RIDWARE IN THE COUNTY OF STAFFORDSHIRE AT THE TIME OT APPOINTMENT: PREFERENCE SHALL BE GIVEN TO PERSONS QUALIFIED AS AFORESAID WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF COLTON
