Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS FOR WHICH THE COMPANY IS ESTABLISHED ARE RESTRICTED TO THE ASSISTANCE OF PERSONS WHO ARE CURRENTLY SERVING OR WHO HAVE SERVED IN THE ARMED FORCES AND THEIR DEPENDANTS AND PERSONS CONNECTED TO THE ARMED FORCES ("BENEFICIARIES") BY: - THE UNDERTAKING OF ACTIVITIES AND/OR THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES AT TEDWORTH HOUSE AND ANY OTHER LOCATION IN ORDER TO PROMOTE THE HEALTH OF BENEFICIARIES AND ASSIST IN THE RECOVERY OF THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN WOUNDED OR INJURED; AND - MEETING CHARITABLE NEEDS OF BENEFICIARIES AND ASSISTING HELP FOR HEROES AND OTHER CHARITIES OR BODIES WHICH ARE ENGAGED IN MEETING THOSE NEEDS IN EACH CASE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS CLAUSE, PERSONS ARE CONNECTED TO THE ARMED FORCES IF THEY HAVE BEEN WOUNDED OR INJURED WHILST PROVIDING SERVICES TO, OR IN CONJUNCTION WITH, AND IN EITHER CASE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE COMMANDER OF THE ARMED FORCES AND HIS OFFICERS OR, WHERE RELEVANT, OF ANY ALLIED MILITARY BODY WITH WHOM HER MAJESTY'S ARMED FORCES ARE WORKING DURING COMBINED OPERATIONS.
