Charitable objects
(1) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE ART AND SCIENCE OF HISTORIC AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTED, STAINED, DECORATED ARCHITECHTURAL AND STRUCTURAL GLASS AND GLASS MOSAICS AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF PUBLIC APPRECIATION OF SUCH ART INCLUDING BY:- (A) THE PROVISION AND PRESERVATION OF FINE EXAMPLES OF SUCH ART IN PLACES WHERE THEY MAY BE SEEN BY MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC; (B) THE PROVISION OF A REPOSITORY FOR THE SALVAGE AND STORAGE OF MERITORIOUS EXAMPLES OF SUCH ART AT RISK OF LOSS OR DAMAGE; (C) THE RE-ALLOCATION OR RE-SITING OF SALVAGED GLASS IN SUITABLE BUILDINGS (INCLUDING THOSE OF HISTORICAL OR ARCHITECTURAL INTEREST) TO WHICH THE PUBLIC HAVE ACCESS; (D) THE MAINTAINING OF A LIBRARY OR LIBRARIES OF BOOKS, JOURNALS AND MATERIALS ASSOCIATED WITH SUCH ART; AND (E) FURTHERING RESEARCH INTO AND THE STUDY OF SUCH ART THROUGH ANY OTHER MEANS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT. (2) AT THE TRUSTEES' ABSOLUTE DISCRETION TO ADVANCE ANY OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, DISTRESS AND SICKNESS [PARTICULARLY AMONGST THOSE ENGAGED IN DECORATIVE GLASS MAKING AND RELATED TRADES AND THEIR DEPENDENTS] AND THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE AIM OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THOSE WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES.
