THE CHARITY’S OBJECTS (“OBJECTS”) ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING: 1. TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITY OF STOKE-ON-TRENT AND NEWCASTLE-UNDER-LYME IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY, AND HELP MEET, THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY; 2. TO RELIEVE POVERTY OF THOSE IN NEED, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY RUNNING A NETWORK OF CENTRES GIVING ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE.
