TO ADVANCE THE PROTECTION AND CONSERVATION OF BATS IN GENERAL, AND IN PARTICULAR OF THE BARBASTELLE BAT BARBASTELLA BARBASTELLUS, THEIR ROOSTS, FEEDING AREAS, MATING SITES, HIBERNACULA AND SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT IN NORFOLK AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES; TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AND THE GROUP'S MEMBERS IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO BATS, INCLUDING THE PRODUCTION OF LITERATURE, DISSEMINATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF RESEARCH DATA AND ENCOURAGING VOLUNTEER INVOLVEMENT IN NBSG ACTIVITIES
