The High Tide Foundation aims to connect Education and Industry across Teesside whilst raising aspirations of young people through industry led programmes. The Foundation focuses on the Tees Valley area and provides support to students through opportunities. High Tide has over 100 business members who offer resources which are used to help young people gain experience within the world of work.

Charitable objects
THE ONLY OBJECTS FOR WHICH THE COMPANY IS ESTABLISHED ARE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, 1. TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, AND PROVIDE TRAINING AND SKILLS, PRIMARILY TO CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE, IN THE SHIPPING AND PORT INDUSTRIES IN TEESSIDE AND ELSEWHERE, WITH A VIEW TO ENHANCING THE INDIVIDUAL CAPABILITIES, SKILLS AND UNDERSTANDING OF SUCH CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN ORDER FOR THEM TO FIND WORTHWHILE EMPLOYMENT UPON LEAVING FULL OR PART TIME EDUCATION; 2. NOTWITHSTANDING THE ABOVE, TO FACILITATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR EDUCATION AND TRAINING SO AS TO REDUCE UNEMPLOYMENT IN TEESSIDE AND ELSEWHERE, IN SUCH AREAS IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT.
