The Travers Foundation is a volunteer-run Charity that provides financial support to local 13 to 30-year-olds to help them realise their dreams in sports, music and the arts. We help by nurturing the talent of local teams, groups and individuals in Rutland, Leicestershire, and Northamptonshire.

FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, IN THE AREA LEICESTERSHIRE, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE OR RUTLAND: 1) THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ARTS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION, OR ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION, OF SUPPORT AND FUNDING TO INDIVIDUALS, STUDENTS AND ARTISTS WHICH FURTHERS PUBLIC EDUCATION IN AND APPRECIATION OF THE ARTS. 2) THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION BY THE PROVISION, OR ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION, OF FACILITIES, COACHING AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE PLAYING OF SPORTS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN THE SPORTS OF FOOTBALL, RUGBY, GOLF AND ATHLETICS
