FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY CHORAL MUSIC, AND TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN THE SAME BY: A) SUPPORTING THE CHOIR AT CHESTER CATHEDRAL THUS HELPING TO ENSURE THE TRADITION IS MAINTAINED AND DEVELOPED AS PART OF THE CATHEDRAL’S WORSHIP HERITAGE B) PROVIDING SERVICES AND SUPPORT TO MUSIC PERFORMANCE AND TEACHING IN CHESTER CATHEDRAL AND ACROSS THE DIOCESE OF CHESTER C) REFURBISHING AND MAINTAINING THE CHESTER CATHEDRAL GRAND ORGAN D) EDUCATING YOUNG CHORISTERS IN THE NORTH WEST BY SUPPORTING OR ASSISTING IN VOCAL OR INSTRUMENTAL TUITION
