Charitable objects
THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ("OBJECTS") ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING: THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF HEALTH OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 10 TO 25 BY PROVIDING DRUGS EDUCATION NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES, TO ENABLE CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE TO MAKE HEALTHY, INFORMED AND POTENTIALLY LIFE-SAVING DECISIONS TO REDUCE HARM FROM DRUGS USE, IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH: (A) THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT AND EDUCATION - WORKING DIRECTLY WITH CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE, SCHOOLS, UNIVERSITIES, FAMILIES AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY. (B) THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, THROUGH THE WEBSITE, LEAFLETS AND BY SIGNPOSTING TO OTHER ORGANISATIONS. (C) THE PROVISION OF TRAINING AND SUPPORT FOR PEER MENTORS WHO WILL BE ABLE TO ADVISE AND EDUCATE YOUNG PEOPLE AT POTENTIAL RISK FROM DRUG MISUSE. (D) THE PROMOTION OF EFFECTIVE PARTNERSHIPS WITH OTHER CHARITIES AND ORGANISATIONS WORKING IN THE FIELD OF SUBSTANCE MISUSE.
