GDCL provides a venue for local learning/leisure activity with a thriving library at its heart to maintain/develop the pre-existing LA library service within our community. Our Mission is to provide a quality library service, community hub and key outreach services for use by all our inhabitants - children and adults alike - in a safe and welcoming environment: our library, our community.

Charitable objects
4(1) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN GRESFORD, WREXHAM AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, BY THE RUNNING AND MANAGEMENT OF A COMMUNITY LIBRARY. 4(2) TO FURTHER OR BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF GRESFORD, WREXHAM AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID RESIDENTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE IF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID RESIDENTS.
