THE CHARITABLE OBJECT OF THE INSTITUTE IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN HORTICULTURE AND TO PROMOTE THE PRACTICES, RESEARCH, SCIENCE AND ART OF HORTICULTURE AND THE BETTER EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF HORTICULTURISTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.
