The purpose is the prevention and relief of poverty in and around the area of the High Peak Borough Council in Derbyshire. At present the activities consist of operating a food bank, wellbeing activities to improve or manage mental health, community eco-cafe, employability support, advice, signposting and work and skills training for job-seekers.

The prevention or relief of poverty in and around the area of the High Peak Borough Council in the County of Derbyshire or elsewhere in the United Kingdom, in particular, but not exclusively, by providing grants, items and services to individuals in need and the provision of education, training, healthcare projects and all the necessary practical and emotional support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient.
