Charitable objects

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ('THE OBJECTS') ARE: 3.1 THAT THE CHARITY TRUSTEES SHALL HOLD THE INCOME AND PROPERTY OF THE CHARITY UPON TRUST TO APPLY THE INCOME, AND ALL OR SUCH PART OR PARTS OF THE PROPERTY, AT SUCH TIME OR TIMES AND IN SUCH MANNER TO, OR FOR THE BENEFIT OF, SUCH EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE OBJECTS AND PURPOSES IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES MAY IN THEIR DISCRETION THINK FIT. 3.2 WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF SUB-CLAUSE 3.1 THE CHARITY TRUSTEES MAY APPLY THE INCOME AND ALL OR SUCH PART OR PARTS OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CHARITY AT SUCH TIME OR TIMES AND IN SUCH MANNER AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES MAY IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION THINK FIT FOR OR TOWARD THE PROMOTION OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY: 3.2.1 THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION ON ANY GROUND INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE GROUNDS OF RACE, GENDER, DISABILITY, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, AGE OR RELIGION IN LIVE AND RECORDED PERFORMANCE ARTS, ARTS AND PRODUCTION INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, TELEVISION DRAMA, CINEMA, AND LIVE THEATRE AND DANCE (TOGETHER, THE ARTS); 3.2.2 ADVANCING EDUCATION AND RAISING AWARENESS OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY IN THE ARTS; 3.2.3 CONDUCTING OR COMMISSIONING RESEARCH ON EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY ISSUES IN THE ARTS AND PUBLISHING THE RESULTS TO THE PUBLIC; 3.2.4 PROMOTING ACTIVITIES IN THE ARTS TO FOSTER UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN PEOPLE FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS; AND 3.2.5 CULTIVATING A SENTIMENT IN FAVOUR OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY IN THE ARTS.
