THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT, INCLUDING BY:
(1) PROMOTING THE STUDY OF THE NATURAL SCIENCES AND HUMAN HISTORY, PARTICULARLY RELATING TO DEVON;
(2)SUPPORTING TORQUAY MUSEUM PROVIDED THAT IT IS OPERATED FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT.
