Mount Kelly Choral Society gives people in the Tavistock area the opportunity to participate in a choir putting on public performances of choral music and to enjoy those performances at affordable cost. It is an inclusive, non-auditioned community choir.

Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE SOCIETY SHALL BE TO PROMOTE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN, AND APPRECIATION OF THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC, SPECIFICALLY SINGING, IN ALL ASPECTS, BY THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS. THE SOCIETY SHALL REHEARSE AND PERFORM SUCH CHORAL AND ORCHESTRAL WORKS AS THE MUSICAL DIRECTOR AND THE COMMITTEE HAVE DECIDED.
