THE OBJECTS OF THE SOCIETY SHALL BE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY, TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, LEARNING, ACADEMIC STUDY AND KNOWLEDGE, SO AS TO RESULT IN CONTRIBUTING TO SCIENTIFIC, CULTURAL, SOCIAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT WITHIN WALES AND BEYOND.
