Charitable objects
TO PRESERVE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THOSE BUILDINGS AND LANDS OF HISTORIC OR ARCHITECTURAL SIGNIFICANCE WITHIN THE BOROUGH OF BOSTON AND THE SURROUNDING DISTRICT. TO PROMOTE THE RE-USE OF SUCH BUILDINGS IN AN APPROPRIATE AND SUSTAINABLE WAY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC. TO ENGAGE WITH THE PUBLIC AND TO ENCOURAGE PUBLIC COOPERATION IN THE PROTECTION OF THOSE BUILDINGS AND LANDS WHICH CONTRIBUTE TO THE HERITAGE AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT OF BOSTON AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC. (NOTHING IN THE ARTICLES SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CHARITY FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND/OR SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND)2008.)99
