Charitable objects
3. Objects The objects of the CIO are: (a) To advance the Christian faith in accordance with the Statement of Faith in the Schedule hereto attached in Romsey and such parts of Hampshire, the United Kingdom or the world as the Trustees may from time to time think fit and to fulfil such other purposes which are exclusively charitable according to the law of England and Wales and are connected with the charitable work of the charity; (b) To relieve persons who are in condition of need or hardship and who may be aged or sick and to relieve the distress caused thereby in Romsey and such parts of Hampshire, the United Kingdom or the world as the Trustees may from time to time think fit. Appendix Statement of Beliefs As a Christian organisation we: celebrate God as Creator and sustainer of all life acknowledge Jesus Christ as Son of God and Lord of our lives believe that the Holy Spirit equips us to serve God in the Church and the world As people from various churches, we celebrate our dependence upon God and interdependence with one another, as we seek to work together in sharing the Gospel with all people. We expect our staff and volunteers to be in sympathy with the Christian faith and to do everything possible to encourage others on their journey of faith.
