Activities - how the charity spends its money
We provide friendship ,social activities and talks for Holocaust survivors in Leeds; promote and deliver Holocaust education at the Holocaust Learning & Exhibition Centre in Huddersfield and at schools, colleges, universities and community groups through survivors and volunteer speakers in the north of England; provide advice and guidance to external organisations on Holocaust related matters.

Charitable objects
3.1 THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: 3.1.1 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC, IN PARTICULAR ABOUT THE HISTORY AND EFFECT OF THE HOLOCAUST AND RELATED TOPICS, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, BY PROVIDING A REPOSITORY OF ARCHIVE AND MUSEUM COLLECTIONS, INCLUDING A PERMANENT EXHIBITION, AND DELIVERING A PROGRAMME OF PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT AND LEARNING ON THE HOLOCAUST, HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES, FREEDOM AND EQUALITY, AND RELATED TOPICS; 3.1.2 TO PROVIDE RELIEF BY WAY OF FRIENDSHIP AND SUPPORT (WHETHER FINANCIAL OR OTHERWISE) TO HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO ARE IN CHARITABLE NEED. 3.2 NOTHING IN THE ARTICLES SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CHARITY FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 1 OF THE CHARITIES ACT 2011, SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 OR SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008 (AS APPLICABLE).
