THE OBJECTS OF THE SOCIETY SHALL BE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY PROMOTION, SUPPORT, ASSISTANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF MUSEUMS ESTABLISHED BY THE CITY OF NOTTINGHAM THROUGH THE ACTIVITY OF A GROUP OF FRIENDS AND THE PROMOTION OF THE PUBLIC’S APPRECIATION OF THE FINE ARTS, NATURAL SCIENCE, ARCHAEOLOGY, SOCIAL HISTORY AND THE HISTORY OF APPLIED TECHNOLOGY
