THE OBJECTS FOR WHICH THE MUISEUM IS ESTABLISHED ARE TO PRESERVE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE NATION AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY, EQUIPMENT BUILDGS, DOCUMENTS AND LIVESTOCK OF EDUCATIONAL AND HISTORICAL INTEREST AND TO MAINTAIN AND OPERATE A MUSEUM AT MURTON IN THE COUNTY OF NORTH YORKSHIRE FOR THE PURPOSE OF EXHIBITING TO THE PUBLIC SUCH ITEMS OF EDUCATIONAL OR HISTORICAL INTERESTS AND IN FURTHERANCE OF THE OBOVE OBJECTS BUT NOT OTHERWISE.
