THE CHARITY’S OBJECTS (THE ‘OBJECTS’) ARE: THE ADVANCEMENT OF SCIENCE (ENGINEERING) FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY:- (1) BRINGING TOGETHER ENGINEERS IN GREAT BRITAIN TO SAFEGUARD THEIR COMMON INTERESTS AND TO ENCOURAGE TECHNICAL INTERCHANGE, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT LIMITED TO INTERCHANGE BETWEEN SWEDEN AND GREAT BRITAIN; AND (2) TO GRANT SCHOLARSHIPS TO ENGINEERING STUDENTS (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS THE ‘SIS SCHOLARSHIP’).
