THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") ARE THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION OF GOOD HEALTH FOR PATIENTS WITH CLEFT LIP AND/OR PALATE (CLEFT), WITH A FOCUS ON PATIENTS IN THE EAST OF ENGLAND REGION OF THE UK AND IN THE DEVELOPING WORLD, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: A) HELPING CLEFT PATIENTS RECEIVED THE BEST TREATMENT AVAILABLE; B) WORKING WITH THE CLEFT. NET. EAST TEAM AT ADDENBROOKE’S HOSPITAL NHS; C) SUPPORTING THE TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT OF A MEDICAL TEAM AT ADDENBROOKE’S; D) PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FUNDING FOR EQUIPMENT, PROJECTS AND FACILITIES, NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES, FOR THE EAST OF ENGLAND REGION’S HOSPITALS; E) RAISING AWARENESS OF CLEFT AND SEEKING TO IMPROVE CLEFT SERVICES; F) SUPPORTING RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSE, TREATMENT AND PREVENTION OF CLEFT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT; G) SUPPORTING TREATMENT AND CARE FOR CLEFT PATIENTS IN THE DEVELOPING WORLD.
