THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 1) TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF PATIENTS OF THE STRATFORD UPON AVON HOSPITAL BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES, SUPPORT SERVICES AND EQUIPMENT NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES. 2) TO FURTHER SUCH EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN STRATFORD UPON AVON AND THE SURROUNDING AREA AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION SHALL THINK FIT FROM TIME TO TIME, IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE MAKING OF GRANTS AND DONATIONS.
