Activities - how the charity spends its money
We help to build the collection, and conserve and display items in the Sierra Leone National Railway Collection. We promote and organise meetings, lectures and events to foster interest in the SLNRM. We edit and publish of data, information, reproductions, books, periodicals, papers and pamphlets relating to the museum. We encourage the study of railway transport in Sierra Leone and its history.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE ENCOURAGEMENT, FOSTERING, ASSISTANCE AND PROMOTION IN ANY MANNER OF THE WORK AND ACTIVITIES OF THE SIERRA LEONE NATIONAL RAILWAY MUSEUM (‘THE MUSEUM’) INCLUDING WORK AND ACTIVITY SANCTIONED OR REQUESTED BY THE SIERRA LEONE MINISTRY OF TOURISM & CULTURAL AFFAIRS AND CARRIED OUT JOINTLY WITH THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF SIERRA LEONE, OR ANY OTHER MUSEUM, ART GALLERY, PRESERVATION SOCIETY OR SIMILAR ORGANISATION PROVIDED ALWAYS THAT NO PART OF THE TRUST FUND SHALL IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE PAID, APPLIED OR USED FOR ANY PURPOSE WHICH IS NOT A CHARITABLE PURPOSE.
