The Charity is the Norwich Hebrew Congregation. This is is a traditional Anglo Jewish congregation providing religious services and facilities for individuals of the Jewish faith. The Congregation has a synagogue and a communal hall and provides a programme of educational and cultural events and school visits for the residents of Norwich and the surrounding district.

TO ADVANCE THE JEWISH RELIGION THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SUITABLE PREMISES, RESOURCES AND SUPPORT FOR THE WORSHIP OF THE JEWISH RELIGION, THE PROVISION OF RELIGIOUS SERVICES ON THE JEWISH SABBATH, HIGH HOLY DAYS AND OTHER JEWISH FESTIVALS, THE PROVISION AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF RELIGIOUS, EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES IN CONNECTION WITH THE JEWISH FAITH FOR THE RESIDENTS OF AND VISITORS TO NORWICH AND THE SURROUNDING AREA AND ACTING AS A FOCUS FOR JEWISH CULTURE, TRADITIONS, EDUCATION AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES IN NORWICH AND THE SURROUNDING AREA.”
