(A) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN HORTICULTURE AND TO PROMOTE, ENCOURAGE AND IMPROVE HORTICULTURE BY THE HOLDING OF HORTICULTURAL SHOWS, COMPETITIONS, MEETINGS, LECTURES, DISCUSSIONS, DEMONSTRATIONS AND RUNNING ALLOTMENT GARDENS.
