THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: TO ASSIST IN THE RELIEF OF SUFFERING AND DISTRESS AMONGST PERSONS ENDANGERED BY ACCIDENT, NATURAL HAZARD OR VULNERABILITY RELATED TO MENTAL HEALTH, PRINCIPALLY IN OXFORDSHIRE BUT WITHOUT GEOGRAPHICAL LIMITATION, BY SUPPORTING ANY OTHER RESCUE ORGANISATION, EMERGENCY SERVICE OR EMERGENCY PLANNING TEAM, AND PROVIDING A COORDINATED RESPONSE FOR THE SECURE AND EFFICIENT SEARCH AND RESCUE OF ANY PERSONS SO ENDANGERED.
