The charity?s object is: the prevention or relief of poverty for the public benefit in the Borough of Newham and the surrounding areas, in particular but not exclusively by: a) the provision of food, hygiene, and household products to individuals and families in need and/or for distribution by charities or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty b) providing support, advice, and information to help overcome the effects of poverty c) establishing effective working relationships with other charities and voluntary and statutory organisations established to help people who are living in poverty to better meet their needs and improve their conditions d) to relieve people who are lonely in the Borough of Newham and surrounding areas by providing services calculated to alleviate the needs of such persons.
