FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN THE FIELD OF PSYCHOANALYTIC PSYCHOTHERAPY IN PARTICULAR FOR THOSE WORKING IN NHS, PUBLIC AND VOLUNTARY SECTORS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: A) PUBLISHING THE JOURNAL ‘PSYCHOANALYTIC PSYCHOTHERAPY’ AND OTHER PUBLICATIONS AS SHALL BE THOUGHT FIT B) HOLDING AND SUPPORTING EDUCATIONAL EVENTS C) PROVIDING GRANTS FOR RESEARCH INTO PSYCHOANALYTIC PSYCHOTHERAPY ENSURING THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH ARE DISSEMINATED D) PROMOTING HIGHER STANDARDS OF TRAINING AND PRACTICE IN PSYCHOTHERAPY IN THE NHS, PUBLIC AND VOLUNTARY SECTORS E) MAKING GRANTS OR LOANS TO SUPPORT TRAINING IN PSYCHOTHERAPY.
