Activities - how the charity spends its money

Raise The Roof supports the homeless and those in need in the City of Hull. We provide hot nutritious food three days a week (a 'soup kitchen' that we term as Outreach) and support those clients in helping them to contact and navigate the support services for housing, benefits, drug/alcohol dependency, domestic abuse and health support.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: A) THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY OF PEOPLE WHO ARE HOMELESS AND THOSE AT RISK OF HOMELESSNESS IN HULL AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS BY THE PROVISION OF EMERGENCY FOOD, ESSENTIAL TOILETRIES, AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN NEED AND/OR FOR DISTRIBUTION BY OTHER CHARITIES OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY. B) THE RELIEF OF UNEMPLOYMENT OF PEOPLE WHO ARE HOMELESS AND THOSE AT RISK OF HOMELESSNESS IN HULL AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS IN SUCH WAYS AS MAY BE THOUGHT FIT, INCLUDING SHORT-TERM WORK PLACEMENTS AND ASSISTANCE TO FIND EMPLOYMENT OR FURTHER EDUCATION.
