The Art Station is a dynamic, inclusive, arts charity, offering a free Art and Learning Programme - exhibitions, events, talks, screenings, creative sessions for all ages. Our activities bring people together around enjoyable creative experiences and access to recreation, local facilities and cultural opportunities, also providing volunteering, work placements, work experience and internships.

Charitable objects
THE CHARITY’S OBJECTS (‘’OBJECTS’’) ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING: (A) TO ADVANCE THE ARTS AND CULTURE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY PROMOTING AND FACILITATING ACCESS TO, CREATION OF AND EXHIBITIONS OF THE VISUAL ARTS AND OTHER ART FORMS; (B) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, PARTICULARLY (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY) IN RELATION TO THE VISUAL ARTS; (C) TO PROVIDE FOR THE RECREATION OF CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY PROVIDING FACILITIES, SPACE AND SERVICES TO THEM IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; AND (D) TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PREVENTING PEOPLE FROM BECOMING SOCIALLY EXCLUDED, RELIEVING THE NEEDS OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED AND PROVIDING ACTIVITIES TO ASSIST THEIR INTEGRATION INTO SOCIETY. FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS CLAUSE ‘SOCIALLY EXCLUDED’ MEANS BEING EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PART OF SOCIETY, AS A RESULT OF ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING: ILL HEALTH (MENTAL OR PHYSICAL); DISABILITY; UNEMPLOYMENT; FINANCIAL HARDSHIP; POOR EDUCATIONAL OR SKILLS ATTAINMENT.
