Thaxted Area Meeting is the Quaker body for NW Essex. Quakers are a Peace Church offering public opportunities for quiet worship. We work for peace, equality, justice & sustainability inspired by our testimonies. Local Quakers work together, and often with other groups toward these ends. We also support projects further afield, often through our national offices on international projects.
