THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO ADVANCE THE JEWISH RELIGION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT (AND IN PARTICULAR FOR THE STUDENTS OF CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY) THROUGH THE PROVISION OF A SYNAGOGUE AND RELIGIOUS CENTRE USED FOR THE HOLDING OF PUBLIC WORSHIP, PRAYER MEETINGS AND OTHER RELIGIOUS, EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL, CULTURAL AND CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES.
