Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 4.1. THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS BY THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF ALMSHOUSE ACCOMMODATION AND SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE RESIDENTS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION THINK FIT; RESIDENTS SHALL BE POOR PERSONS OF GOOD CHARACTER WHO ARE MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND. 4.2. TO PAY THE YEARLY SUM OF £84 TO THE VICAR FOR THE TIME BEING OF THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH OF ALL SAINTS, RAVENSTONE, BUCKINGHAMSHIRE (OR DURING ANY PERIOD WHEN THERE IS NO SUCH VICAR, TO PAY SUCH SUM TO THE CURATE IN CHARGE OF THAT ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH); AND 4.3. TO PAY TO THE PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL OF THAT ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH THE YEARLY SUM OF £10 FOR REPAIRING THE PARISH CHURCH OF RAVENSTONE, BUCKINGHAMSHIRE AND THE CHANCEL THEREOF AND FOR BEAUTIFYING AND ADORNING THE SAID CHURCH AND CHANCEL AND PROVIDING UTENSILS AND ORNAMENTS FOR THE SAME.
