Charitable objects
A. TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE THE STUDY OF BRITISH FAMILY HISTORY, GENEALOGY AND LOCAL HISTORY WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO EASTERN YORKSHIRE.
B. TO PROMOTE THE PRESERVATION, SECURITY AND ACCESSIBILITY OF ARCHIVAL MATERIAL.
