Charitable objects
4.1. THE CHARITY?S OBJECTS ARE TO RELIEVE PERSONS WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, SERVICES, ACTIVITIES OR FACILITIES WHICH ARE CALCULATED TO REDUCE THE NEED OR ALLEVIATE THE SUFFERING OF THE FOLLOWING PERSONS OR TO HELP THEM INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY: (I) THOSE OF SWEDISH NATIONALITY OR DESCENT; (II) THE HUSBANDS, WIVES, WIDOWS, WIDOWERS OR DEPENDANTS OF PERSONS SPECIFIED IN SECTION (I) ABOVE; AND (III) THOSE WHO ATTEND OR ARE CLOSELY ASSOCIATED WITH THE SWEDISH CHURCH. 4.2. THE DIRECTORS MAY MAKE GRANTS FOR SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS WILL SUPPORT THE OBJECTS AS SET OUT IN ARTICLE 4.1 AND / OR BE FOR THE BENEFIT OF PERSONS OF SWEDISH ORIGIN WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE UNITED KINGDOM.
