TO ADVISE ON AND ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF ADEQUATE PLAYING FIELDS AND PLAYGROUNDS IN THE BENEFICIAL AREA FOR THE PURPOSE OF OUTDOOR GAMES, SPORTS AND PASTIMES WITH A VIEW TO PROMOTING THE PHYSICAL AND MORAL WELFARE AND THE SAFETY OF THE POPULATION.
